So, what's the big deal with television and well... the entertainment media hocking shows and films in HD and 3D? I don't have to spend a lot of money to enjoy life in HD or 3D, I could simply walk outside.

Only a few more days until the small trip. Since most of the relatives will be there, there is a hundred percent chance that there will be drama. At least the road trip itself won't be boring.

Nothing like being out around and with friends, right? Sure, it was crowded as fuck, but it was worth it. Luckily enough, the place we went to was a small plaza, so all we had to do was park and walk around. Speaking of which, hopefully I will encounter some friends back in Owensboro during the Christmas visit.

Yeah.
Ever mentioned how I dislike the holidays?

Kaoru's asleep; thank god. Sasha I think went shopping. Not entirely sure.

For some reason, spice and chocolate goes well together. With that said, I discovered a tin of Tabasco Brand Spicy Chocolate. It is what you think it is! Dark chocolate flavoured with the well known Tabasco pepper sauce. Just like the Chili Chiptole Dark Chocolate I had a few months ago, the heat settles nicely in the throat. Not bad at all!

It seems that I will be traveling to Owensboro this Christmas. It seems that I am always moving around during this time of year. Sure, it's only for a small visit, but it would be nice to stay in one place for the Holidays this year.

Finals are done, thus ending the Fall semester of 2009. I still find it weird that they named the school after the parkway it's right next to. (Or is it the other way around, I've no idea.) So, my English professor is not all that evil like my classmates and I claim. Well, sort of, but then again that can be applied with all English professors. Hopefully this winter break will be quick and over with as soon as possible!

One more final exam to take. Well, like I've mentioned before, it's an in class essay rather than an exam. What started out to be a forty student class ended up with eight students in the class. Yeeeah, that's how bad the drop rate for English Literature II is. Well, all the luck for me!

We're home in New York ; at the hotel to be precise. Sorry for not reporting back straight away. Sasha wanted to go shopping as soon as we got home but then I just was kina like "No. We're sleeping. Everyones tired, we can shop tomorrow. "
So thats what we did. Slept the 13th, went shopping and caught a few flicks yesterday, and now todays our lazy day. We're heading out for moms tomorrow. She seems pleased to finally meet Sasha.
Now, back to the title.
I love Japan ; its cuisine is pretty damn good. A bit off more than half the time, but I enjoy it. I mean, you kina have to if you're going to live there.
But sometimes, you just need a cheeseburger and a coke. Seriously. I love the whole raw fish deal and whatnot, but, I love me some cow on a bun.
Oh my god. I think I might just...urgh. Jizz from this shit. D:
.....Sasha's watching me moan while I eat a cheeseburger and type.
Quit judging me.

Three down and one more to go. The U.S. History exam caught me off guard with one question, but everything else seems rather easy. The same could go with my Psychology and a few on my World History exam, but over all, I feel confident. Now all I have to do is prepare for the in-class essay on Wednesday.

Brb. Plane to NY. I'll post once we get there and get settled. Woo for three posts a day!

Ugh. I don't mind flying, but, I'd rather have a mid-day or night flight.
I don't -do- getting up at 6 A.M., proceeding to rush everyone around to get ready to fly, then waiting at the air port for a near 2 hours, then sitting on a plane with no intentions of the mile high club for about 4 hours.
Joy. It involves an airplane.
We landed pretty safely, Kaoru not too happy about leaving Dimitri behind in Japan. I didn't feel like explaining why I'm not paying for a man nearly 6 years older than him's ticket, but I just simply said it was a family thing. He asked why we could take Jet, Sirius, and Suzie, and not Dimitri.
I said because theres a difference between taking your pets and not making them starve, and taking a man.
He still didn't like the idea, but he came along anyway.
So, we landed in London. Its pretty neat. Foggy, but neat. Sasha wants to go shopping, but, I'd rather sit at a cafe` until our next flight. Which, we compromised and so now, I'm sitting at a cafe` with Suzie draped on my shoulders, the two tiger cubs, harnesses and all, tied to the table, sharing a rawhide bone and Kaoru, sipping coffee enjoying the free wifi. Kaoru's enjoying an orange scone and a hot chocolate, watching me type.
I should have came to London to live a looong time ago. More authentic cafe` experience. Less snotty servers. Better pastries.
I love seeing Sasha in such a busy, bee-like mood. Its so interesting since usually when I see him, he's tired and agitated from working all day. I'm usually a Scrooge when it comes to the holidays, because christmas eve is when mom and dad split. I don't remember dad much, but, I just know that he was the reason why mom was like a bruised depressed banana.
Or maybe its 'cause she had two hellions for sons and her angelic daughter didn't mind her nor pay attention to him.
I don't know, but moms pretty happy right now. Wonder if Sasha will mind going to dinner, since she asked since I told her we were coming back to the states. DOn't think she'll mind, since, She's never met him.
Alright, well, the cubs are getting anxious. Time to go walk them. Don't want them shitting on the nice floor.

Seems like we're heading out to NY for the holidays. It's nice to see my old friends once again.
Don't get me wrong, Japan is nice and all, but, New York has this special charm about it that I can't get anywhere else. Maybe its because my long time friend, Max, is there. As well as my family.
But yeah. We're going back home to celebrate. I'm pretty happy about it, as is Sasha. Which is always nice to see, my little model being all happy comfy cozy.
Oh! LJ! I got laid! *trumpets sound*
Not an odd sight to see me and Sasha mashed up against each other, but he's been working so much lately. He finally had a night off last night and we went at it like rabid dogs in heat! Oh it was so romantic!
He seemed displeased when I fucked him instead of letting him top me..but he didn't complain verbally.
Sorry, but I haven't gotten ass in a while. ): I'd like more, but Sasha's constantly at work and my dick wants more than my hand.

Came back from New York, and then not even a month later, I got a call that said:
'Hey big bro, guess what! I've got the best news you'll ever hear!'
...no clue, tell me Trissy.
'Me and Levi are getting hitched! Isn't it wonderful?!'
......you're getting married...to him....Hn...
Now, here's my problem with Levi. I'm not against him, he's nice, he was with Tristian while he was in the hospital and I can't blame Trissy for staying with the man while he was in a coma. He practically saved Trissy's life because he got there before my brother slipped away.
He's kind and respectful, but, I get this odd feeling while I was there (maybe because I was getting all of Trissy's attention. Then again. I think you'd be clinging to your brother if you haven't seen him in years due to him being out of the country. ) he didn't like me.
Again, my hunch is that Trissy was shoved up MY ass rather than his. But whatever, its his beef not mine.
Now, whats agitating me about the wedding is, Moms only met Levi when they were in the hospital. Even then, it wasn't for long. The doctors shooed her out.
But, I shouldn't be complaining about their relationship when mines worse.
Or weirder.
However you've viewed it.
I'm content with it, and shall be for many years to come.

It's almost the end of 2009 and I've picked up a lot of music. I won't bother listing all the albums I either like or dislike, soo... here's a small list!
The Good:
Heaven & Hell- The Devil You Know
Despite the name of the band, it's essentially the Black Sabbath line up of the Mob Rules and Dehumanizer era. It's basically what you would associate Black Sabbath with, but with more. Going at age 61, Ronnie James Dio still has it, Tony Iommi is still on top of his game, Vinnie Appice is still keeping the pace, and Geezer Butler keeps the sound togther. Over all, it's a very good release and shouldn't be a surprise if there isn't another release under this banner.
Outstanding tracks: Bible Black, Eating the Cannibals, Follow the Tears, Atom and Evil.
Cannibal Corpse- Evisceration Plague
You really can't expect anything less of the New York death metallers. Straight out of the KILL touring cycle, there is a slight of melody in the tracks featured in this album, but nothing that will convince the listener that the band is going to change any time soon. After all, they made themselves into one of the premier death metal bands today. Corpsegrinder seems to get better and better with the death growls with each passing album and it shines here. But of course, there is tight musicianship from Pat, Rob, Alex, and Paul.
Outstanding tracks: Priests of Sodom, Evisceration Plague, A Cauldron of Hate, Skewer from Ear to Ear.
Assjack- Assjack
The heavy metal release that Hank III fans have been waiting for! Sure, there are released bootlegs in the past, but this is the official release! It takes a lot of songs from their third bootleg album with a few songs not released. (The record label sucks, that's all I can comment about that.) Hank III, the grandson of Hank Sr. and son of Hank Jr. (Yes, those Hanks as in the country music legends.), does everything on the album short of doing the actual cover art and selling the album. Raw and heavy, the album starts off with Tennessee Driver and doesn't let go until the final track Doin' What I Want.
Outstanding tracks: Tennessee Driver, Redneck Ride, Smoke the Fire, Gravel Pit, Choking Gesture, Cocaine the White Devil
The Devin Townsend Project- Ki
Devin Townsend, known for his very fucking heavy metal band, Strapping Young Lad, shows off his opposite side in this release. It flows in the similar vein of his Devin Townsend Band projects, but tons more experimental. It features a lot of psychedelic sounds, bluesy jazz, and ambience: a complete 180 of the material associated with his Strapping Young Lad material.
Outstanding tracks: The whole album.
The Devin Townsend Project- Addicted
If anyone knows who Devin Townsend is, they know he works his ass off and it shows. This is the second release of his four part project albums. A complete opposite of the Ki album, this release features a heavier sound and danceable music, similar to what I believe is techno infused rock, but something close to it.
Outstanding tracks: The whole album.
Dir en grey- 激しさと、この胸の中で絡み付いた灼熱の闇
Over a year since the release of their UROBOROS album, it seems that the band are dead on with the over all sound of said album and just ran with it in the new single, 激しさと、この胸の中で絡み付いた灼熱の闇. The b-sides include a remake of the track, 残-ZAN-. (Now just titled as 残 on the single.) Along with 残, 蝕紅 has also been redone, but in a live re-recorded session. (It's also done in one take.) The band are taking their newly found love of all things European melodic death metal and incorporating that into their overall sound, so it won't be a shock to hear more tracks with this element in the next album.
Outstanding tracks: The entire single.
MUCC- 球体
A contrast to their release, 志恩, it seems as if the band took more of a Western influence in this release. To be fair, it is not a complete shock considering Miya is a fan of bands such as Metallica and Slipknot. (Hell, the band members can be seen wearing shirts that feature Iron Maiden and Metallica from time to time in their live shows!) From the opening instrumental to their Beatles like song, hanabi, the band really shown that they are versatile and aren't afraid of doing things differently.
Outstanding tracks: Well hell... the entire album.
D'espairsRay- REDEEMER
Third release from the Osaka quartet, the album shows a mix of all their efforts into a nice package. Much like their fellow bands, they are accused of being Americanised or some nonsense. (Any band that isn't from Japan is automatically an American band.) Either way, rant aside, I can't help but see that the band is lighting up both sound and visually, a complete opposite of what their name vaguely stands for! But! That doesn't mean that it isn't either: Americanised or awful, there is some difference while keeping to their previous sounds.
Outstanding tracks: Lizard, BRILLIANT, Horizon, Lost in Re:birth, Kamikaze, Paradox 5, R.E.M -冬の幻聴-, REDEEMER.
Animal Collective- Merriweather Post Pavilion
This is a hit or miss with most people. If anyone doesn't know who they are, they are more of a psychedelic/pop/indie rock band. Or something. It's best to listen to them to fully understand that categorizing them is a very hard thing to do. With that said, this album is more of a relaxing album for me. (I meant, if you can't tell by now... )
Outstanding tracks: Taste, Summertime Clothes, In the Flowers, Guys Eyes.
Slayer- World Painted Blood
It's typical Slayer in all the finest! To be fair, there are a few tracks that separate themselves from the typical Slayer catalogue. Tracks such as Playing With Dolls features a nice and slow melody and a haunting voice by Tom Araya. A lot less input from Kerry King this time around gave room for Hanneman more space. (Kerry King only composed six tracks this time.) It's what the end of the world should sound like: heavy, fast, and in your face.
Outstanding tracks: The entire album.
The Bad:
Muse- The Resistance
I expected a lot better out of a band like Muse. I got into the band when a friend of mine bought their Absolution album. I loved the fact there was a lot to offer, but for some reason, that soul isn't in this new release. The melodies are anything but creative and it just seems... predictable at times. Sure, I might change my mind later after a few spins, but who knows? (Note: This last sentence is to be applied to all the bands in this section.)
Suicide Silence- No Time to Bleed
Complete utter bollocks. The release is suffered with the "IT ALL SOUNDS A LIKE!" syndrome. Sweep picking seems like the only thing that the guitarists is good at and the vocals come out as nonsense shit. (And I think Job For A Cowboy is a good band.) It is once said that this band is the future of heavy metal... I hope to G-d that this isn't the case at all!
Tokio Hotel- Humanoid
For some reason, it's just very weird hearing Billy or whatever his name is sing in English. It's not bad, it just doesn't sound natural. And if you're a fan of this band, go ahead and pick up the Best Buy edition of this album. The bonus disc is all of the songs in their native German language.
The Ugly:
Lady GaGa
Adam Lambert
Green Day

So much for being productive today. I did glance over my thing for English final seeing that is also an in-class essay. It is over the short story "Everyday Use." Something about a Militant college daughter ransacking her mothers place to use more like a trophy rather than their practical, everyday use. (Thus the title of said short story.) It is not hard, it is the time limit I am worried about. Oh well!
